Celebrate the delivery of approximately 40,000 pounds of food to the Greensboro Urban Ministry in honor of America 250.

The delivery is part of a nationwide effort in which The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is sending 250 truckloads of food to 250 food banks across all 50 states.

Greensboro will mark the second semitruck delivery of food in North Carolina.

Each America250 truckload includes a variety of shelf-stable foods such as canned fruits and vegetables, pasta, flour, pancake mix, and dried milk.

The community is invited to celebrate the truck’s arrival. Cadets from the local fire academy will assist in unloading the truck.
