As we approach America’s 250th anniversary, Guilford County will serve as a model for how local communities can honor our shared heritage while building bridges to the future. Our celebration will encompass:

- 4th Grade Flag Contest in conjunction with America250NC
- Countywide coloring contest for all Guilford County Students focusing on “What it Means to Me to Be an American”
- Guilford County in 250 Seconds video series
- Young professionals trivia nights
- America 250 Guilford County Time Capsule
- Participation in “America’s Potluck“
- Promotion of other history-related events throughout Guilford County
