The success of America 250 in Guilford County depends on community participation. There are numerous ways to contribute to this historic celebration.
For Individuals
- Join our committee – We meet twice a month on Google Meet. Send an email to america250guilford@gmail.com to join our next meeting (frequency subject to change).
- Volunteer for events – Help with planning, setup, and execution of commemorative activities
- Share your story – Contribute family histories, artifacts, or local knowledge
- Attend programs – Participate in educational events and community celebrations
For Organizations
- Partner with us – Schools, nonprofits, and community groups can collaborate on programming
- Sponsor events – Help fund activities that serve the entire community
- Host programs – Offer your venue or expertise for educational initiatives
For Educators
- Integrate America 250 themes into curriculum
