SUMMARY:Limits of Freedom Exhibit
DESCRIPTION:Limits of Freedom explores the lives of free and enslaved African Americans in Guilford and Rockingham Counties in early U.S. history. Their experiences\, from service in the Revolutionary War to work along the Dan River\, illustrate the lived reality of people during a time of slavery. Passed down through the generations\, the stories in this exhibit help bring about a better understanding of the early days of two of North Carolina’s most influential counties.  \n\n\n\nThe exhibit will be at the High Point Museum from February 7 to March 7 during museum hours. DESCRIPTION:Courtesy: Greensboro Area Convention & Visitors Bureau\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Battle of Guilford Courthouse Reenactment will take place on March 14 and 15\, 2026\, at 2 pm each day at the “Battlefield” at Country Park in Greensboro. Living history reenactors and vendors will be set up in the Sutlers’ Camp on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for visitors to experience a bit of history and purchase food and goods from that time period.  \n\n\n\nCome and enjoy the battle reenactment and learn more about the major role the Battle of Guilford Courthouse had in the American Revolution.

SUMMARY:Truckload of Food Delivery to Greensboro Urban Ministry
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the delivery of approximately 40\,000 pounds of food to the Greensboro Urban Ministry in honor of America 250.  \n\n\n\nThe delivery is part of a nationwide effort in which The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is sending 250 truckloads of food to 250 food banks across all 50 states. \n\n\n\nGreensboro will mark the second semitruck delivery of food in North Carolina. \n\n\n\nEach America250 truckload includes a variety of shelf-stable foods such as canned fruits and vegetables\, pasta\, flour\, pancake mix\, and dried milk. \n\n\n\nThe community is invited to celebrate the truck’s arrival. Cadets from the local fire academy will assist in unloading the truck.
