The High Point Historical Society will host Linda Willard, author of “Quaker Abolitionist Breaking the Chains of Oppression.” Willard will discuss her research on the biographies of over 60 Quaker men and women who were active in the abolitionist movement, the Underground Railroad and the women’s suffrage movement.
